Gunmen fire on Brite Lite Funeral Services

The office of Brite Lite Funeral Services, known for their outlandish funerals, particularly for well-known people, was shot up on Sunday morning.

The premises, which is located at 1 Dillion Avenue, Kingston 5, organised the funerals of Christine Hewitt, former media practitioner, former Clansman leader Donovan 'Bulbie' Bennett, and dancer Gerald 'Bogle' Levy among others.

At approximately 4:30 a.m., a caretaker at the premises reported hearing gunshots, but thought it was not near enough to investigate. In the morning, however, he discovered that the front entrance door (made of glass) was riddled with bullet holes.

The police were summoned, and an investigation has been launched into the matter.

The STAR was unable to reach the owner of Brite Lite, Tommy Thompson, as he is currently overseas.
