We need to change

THE EDITOR: Sir,

A lone gunman walks on to a football field where 50 children are waiting to start a game. He brutally murders the coach in front of those impressionable little children. A young woman about to enter her workplace, shot dead. The list goes on. These murderers are mostly young men between 15 and 30 years old.

What has happened to our young people? Whose example are they following? We elected leaders to lead - that is, set an example to follow. When a Government loses its moral right to rule, then the people will lose their moral and social values. Do we really have the right people leading? After 17 years, what else will it take to see that something is very wrong. How long will we wait before we make a change?

A change is our only way out. It must come right from the top. We cannot expose another generation to this kind of leadership. A change is a must.

I am, etc.,

A. BRYAN
