Students are out to have fun at the 'No Violence in School' tour.
This is the view of Valerie Hibbert, the vice-principal for Charlie Smith Comprehensive High School. "The work is left up to us now to get the message across," she said.
Hibbert, who was pleased with the performances at the 'No Violence in School' tour on Thursday, said it was an eye opener for her to see how eagerly the students reacted to the music.
If teachers can find ways to put music to the things they teach lessons will certainly get across.

She gave the example of a young student from her school, Chevron, whom artiste Kiprich brought on the stage to perform.
He performed an original piece, Hungry and she was surprised because she knew he wrote poems but not songs.
She said the young man is in a remedial class and they gave him a notebook to write in and recognised his weaknesses.
Now that they see how interested he is in music they can explore this option.
Apart from performances by Kiprich, Charlie Smith was wowed with performances from Bling Dawg, Chuck Fendah, QQ and Voice Mail among others.
