Missing cop's body found

Elgin Taylor, STAR Writer

lluidas vale, st. catherine

The decomposing body of missing Special Anti-Crime Task Force member, Constable Patrick Taylor, 31, was found in a hole on the Worthy Park Sugar Estate in Lluidas Vale, St. Catherine on Saturday.

The gruesome discovery was made at about 1:40 pm. by a police search party acting on an anonymous tip.

Reports suggest that the body, which was found in a 'Blister Hole' on the property, was attached to an engine block and had what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

Mr. Taylor was last seen on Monday, September 4 in the adjoining district of Point Hill where he lived. He was seen entering a white Toyota motor car with three occupants at the time. The car was later found abandoned with what was believed to be blood stains on the front passenger seat.

The police have yet to establish a motive for the killing.
