Patrons attack gunman

Patrons at a nightclub in Crooked River, Clarendon, disarmed and beat a gunman on Saturday morning.

Police reports are that at 2 a.m., three men and a woman entered the club. Immediately afterwards, one of the men started acting in a suspicious manner.

He was held by patrons, searched and a firearm was found in his possession. He was disarmed and beaten. He escaped in a grey Caldina motorcar along with some other men.

The Chapelton Police who are investigating were called and the firearm, a. 380 semi automatic pistol with the serial number erased, and six .380 cartridges, were handed over to them.
