As part of the hunt for child killers, today THE STAR continues its series geared towards informing the public about the unsolved murders.

The police are reporting that most of the persons held in connection with some of the murders last year were under the age of 30.
So far, of the 20 murders last year, the police have made a breakthrough in 13. Not surprising, most of the accused are in their 20s with one being over 30.
The person over 30 is Jeffrey Perry, a 31-year-old security guard from St. Mary. Perry is charged with the murders of Shadece Williams, four; Dwayne Davidson, 15 and Stacy-Ann Gardener, 13. The children were stabbed to death in their home in Kilancholy, St. Mary in January last year.
In another case, Sheldon Brooks, 23, was arrested and charged with the murder of Rodaine Powell, three, and his mother and brother on Hanover Street, Kingston, late last year.
In August last year, police arrested and charged a man in his 20s in connection with the death of Shaneal Raffington who was killed while going home with her mother last year.
In August of this year, police arrested and charged Oneil Hammond for the murder of Oksana Douglas, who was killed during a drive-by last December. Another suspect, who is believed to be in his 20s, was also killed by his cronies.
In the other crimes, most of the suspects who fell between the ages of 18 and 25 were killed in gang feuds or by their fellow gang members.
