SINGER DA VILLE has responded to his label boss', Ian Coke, comments about reported friction which was published earlier this week in THE WEEKEND STAR.
Speaking on Wednesday, Da Ville said when first contacted by THE WEEKEND STAR, he could not offer any initial comment about his situation with Coke, the Hardrock boss, based on his attorney's instructions. He noted that he and his attorney were involved in legal proceedings to sort out certain matters related to his management contract with Hardrock Entertainment, and whatever he said could prejudice these matters.
He did respond cautiously, however, to the charges Coke laid against him.
"All I can say about it now is that it was I who hired Hardrock for my management originally, but I have been in the process since last November to disassociate myself from Hardrock," he noted. "It just has not been finalised as yet."
In the previous article published on Wednesday, Coke said that Da Ville was not pulling his weight in the entity, and he had not matured satisfactorily over the years he had been with the company. Da Ville told THE WEEKEND STAR that there were many things about his relationship with Hardrock that the public does not know, and that it was not as it appears on the surface.
"I just have to be level headed about this right now," he continued. "Jamaica will soon know the full story about it."
