Jamaican singer Barbee launched her cosmetics line, Barbee Cosmetics at New York’s premier convention Circle of Sisters last weekend.

The Missing You singer has partnered with celebrity makeup manufacturer Celfie Cosmetics for her latest venture which was launched with a range of six lipsticks.

She states that her cosmetic line is a gift to women and stresses that makeup is a tool that women use to boost their self confidence.

“I created The Barbee Collection as a gift to women. I spend hours in hair and makeup as a recording artiste and I know the transformative feeling that makeup can provide," Barbee noted.

"My heart is steeped in the empowerment of women. Makeup has a way of boosting self-esteem by allowing women to enhance the beauty within by adorning the physical. I want Barbee Cosmetics to be the go-to line for women working to create their own realities,” the singer said of the collection in a press release.

Barbee is also looking to expand the product offerings of The Barbee Collection and expects to complete the full collection by December 2015.
